I removed the LFN file access (longname.dat) part from StarLFN....
After compression it's only 4k left

Then what is it for, exactly? If it's only the remaining LFN part, DOSLFN would be better anyway. The key is whether it can be stripped down to only the part that fakes the WIN version number.

You just need to take out NewInt21,NewInt2F and SetVer from StarLFN

I know it can be done, yeah. I did it before, it's just that the one I made last time was a bit unstable. What I meant was, could you (it's "could you", not "is it possible" make it?
