I installed the DOS7.1 you made. It's a dual-boot system (XP). During installation there were a lot of drivers, and I didn't know whether those drivers matched the ones for my own computer, so I clicked "Yes" for all of them to install. After it finished, when I ran DOS, the screen told me there was an error, and DOS couldn't execute anything.
I want to ask, during installation, can I choose not to install the drivers? I'm not clear about those drivers either. It's a brand-name machine, and it didn't come with drivers, only a recovery disc.
Also, I want to delete it and do it over. Can you teach me how to remove it?

You mean the CD edition of the MS-DOS 7.10 installation version, right? Of course those drivers do not have to be installed; during setup you only need to choose "No". But the solution is very simple: first enter DOS by pressing F5 or F8, then manually configure the CONFIG.SYS and AUTOEXEC.BAT files.
