Pentium II, the motherboard has IDE, USB, ISA, PCI Want to tinker (pure DOS 3.3, 5.0, 6.22, 7.1, Win3.1, Win95). Choose an electronic medium for drive C, and use a mechanical hard drive for drive D. Please recommend a boot disk solution and briefly explain the reason. Solution 1: CF card + IDE converter How to expose the slot outside the case (like a graphics card plug)? It's convenient to change the CF card. Otherwise, you can only leave the case baffle open for a long time. Solution 2: USB flash drive, SD card, flash (mobile phone) card Is the motherboard supported? Can the machine boot? |

Further Steps
Plan Three: tf/SD Card to IDE Treat the common and inexpensive tf card (mobile phone card) as the main hard disk (boot disk). If DOS and Windows can be normally booted, it will surpass other solutions. More convenient than CF card. Is there such a possibility? |
