China DOS Union

First of all, thank you to Wengier, the webmaster of the New DOS Era, who spent a lot of time collecting and sorting out these software and building a website for downloading. The content collected on this CD is all referred to the currently accessible http://www.cn-dos.net/newdos/dosdown.htm webpage. Since most of the links and even the websites have disappeared, the relevant content is reorganized and packaged for release. In addition to the original software, the following situations are included:

1. Some specified versions are no longer downloadable, and are replaced with higher versions of the same software. For example, in game software, Mine Mayhem 2.11, the official website only has version 2.90 now. In system tools, the original registered version of HWINFO 4.61 and the shared version of HWINFO 5.10 are now combined into the ultimate free version of HWINFO 5.55 on the official website, etc.;

2. Some software is reluctantly replaced with the highest version that can be found, but it is still lower than the version specified on the webpage. For example, CardSoft 5.3 in the driver program is now CardSoft 4.1 which was previously backed up, etc.;

3. Some software is replaced with the same functional and same-usage software. For example, do.com in the input tool is replaced with do.exe, and the usage is exactly the same;

4. Those that cannot be solved by version upgrade/downgrade or software replacement are summarized into 11, and listed separately. Among them, the 3 β9 versions of freedos in the boot disk tool are not included, and these 3 links have been directly deleted;

5. All external link contents that can be downloaded locally are modified to local links;

6. The external link is dead, and the original link content cannot be downloaded.
