If you want to display Chinese characters, then there's probably no need to use WBAT, right? (Personally I think QBasic 4.5 and 7.1 are many times simpler than WBAT)
The module for displaying Chinese characters in qb45 has already been adapted. It now includes automatic line wrapping, automatically changes the current POS... It can be mixed with the PRINT statement without causing character overlap... The statement name is PRINTH, just call it directly, but you can't use a semicolon...
Somehow somewhere I've got to choose.
No matter if it is win or lose.
