Can't figure it out no matter what - China DOS Union Forum

Hello, experts, this junior greets you all.
As for the uses of DOS, for me, one is rescuing the system, and the other is playing games. But I'm a complete newbie. Recently I used the 2000 command line to play some DOS games that use the mouse. It says the graphics card is incompatible, but I forced my way in anyway. However, the mouse can only move on the upper half of the screen. Why is that? Please, experts, lend your little brother a hand in spite of your busy schedules. I would be extremely grateful. I kneel here in thanks first.
