I have a dual-boot system with 98 (C and 2K (E. 98 is damaged now, and I want to reinstall it (without formatting). I don't know whether this will damage 2K's boot loader. If so, how should I install it (I absolutely have to keep 2K)?
Thanks!

If you install Win2000 first and then Win98, Win2000's boot files will be overwritten by Win98. But it is still possible to install Win98 afterward; it's just a bit troublesome. Specifically, you can do it like this: first make a Win2000 emergency repair disk, then install 98 directly. That way Win2000 will definitely be unable to boot, but that doesn't matter. Next, use the Win2000 emergency repair disk to boot the system, and choose the "Repair Win2000 boot record" option. This way, your dual-boot system will be restored to how it was before.
