i think the best fs for dos is ReiserFS or NTFS, they're full logged

Developing an FS ourselves doesn't seem realistic at the moment, just using NTFS would be fine too.

But right now there aren't any experts in this area yet, and you also need the right conditions, so it's not very realistic. After all, DOS has no commercial value; it's purely a personal hobby.
