I currently have two systems, WIN98 and WINXP, but I often need to use the pure DOS in WIN98. Since the F8 function key on the boot menu will only bring up the advanced menu for WINXP, while after choosing WIN98 the success rate of pressing F8 immediately is very low, I often have to enter WIN98 and then shut down, choosing the option to enter MS-DOS mode. So I have always been trying to add an option to the boot menu that can enter the MS-DOS of WIN98 (or DOS 7.1, so to speak), but I have never succeeded. After studying Webmaster Wengier's article “How to Boot Pure DOS Under WinNT-2K-XP”, I still did not succeed!! Is it actually possible to achieve this goal? And what exactly is the method?? I hope the experts here can give this little brother some pointers??
