Another little side dish for everyone’s boot disk (a CD-ROM driver that loads only when needed)
For the last little side dish (smartcd), a friend said it was on his website (http://zql3322.3322.net ). This time I’m posting one he doesn’t have, a driver that does not need to be loaded in Config.sys. For applications where conventional memory is tight, this is good news: there is no need to load it at startup; when you need to use the CD-ROM drive, just run the batch command and the CD-ROM drive will be available.
