I have a Toshiba R100 laptop. It doesn't come with an optical drive, and right now I have a USB DVD drive.
The operating system has already crashed and it can't boot from the hard disk, so I want to reinstall the OS. But this damn Japanese laptop doesn't support booting from the optical drive. I used a boot floppy made in Win98, booted into DOS with a USB floppy drive, but it can't detect this USB DVD. How can I make it recognize the USB DVD drive?
