Help: Seagate hard drive, 10G, read/write error at head 0, cylinder 0, sector 1. The system cannot boot. When repartitioning, the partition table was lost, and disk diagnostics says to do a low-level format. How should this be handled? Can it be low-level formatted? I have never done a low-level format before, so I respectfully ask all you experts for an answer. Thanks in advance!

Heard that Norton Disk Editor can handle it, but I haven't tried it myself, so I don't know if it's true. Low-level formatting is also one method,

Diskgen seems to work too... If it's only a partition table error, PQmagic should also help, right?
Try a few more things.
