Watching Chinese-language movies is still okay. But when watching English ones, I'm dumbfounded. My listening isn't at that level yet.

I want to know too, is it possible? Can QuickView support DivX or XviD while displaying subtitles? Pls . If anyone knows, please help

QV should be able to, it's just that I don't currently have any DivX or XviD with subtitles myself, so I haven't tried it.

no, the reason I posted this is that qv can't display subtitles. Is there any other way?
