I used UnFormat a year ago to recover data that had been quick-formatted with format /q, and it worked then.

After that, I was never able to succeed again.
Still using a Win98 boot disk, still a partition formatted with format c: /q,
still entering unformat c: to try to recover the data,
I even tried it on different machines.
It always shows the following error message:
invalid or unspecified drive

Why is this?
