I just installed a second hard disk not long ago, and used letassig to solve the interleaved drive-letter problem under DOS and Win98. But I found that after using pccache under DOS (whether it is loaded before or after letassig), the contents of all partitions after drive C (D, E, ...) become completely unrecognizable. Dir shows garbled text, and the files cannot be accessed. (Smartdrv seems to have no problem, it's just a bit too big)
I wonder if, besides letassig, there is any other software that can solve drive-letter interleaving under DOS. Aside from the pccache problem, there seem to be other issues too. For example, the DOS version of rar v3.2 cannot be used (it gives a page fault), Dos Navigator often causes crashes or automatic restarts, and edit often gives a black screen when loading files. These problems hardly ever happened before I installed the dual hard disks.
Hope all you experts can help! Thanks!
