What exactly do you mean by trimming it down? Do you mean the kind that can only type characters and not phrases?
For the former, you can reverse the code from the Windows Wubi input method, clear out the phrase groups, then recompile it into a TBL file, and that will trim it down quite a bit.
If you want the full Wubi input method package, I can upload it for you.
