What are the ways to enter pure DOS? Experts, please help. My computer keeps having problems, and I want to go into DOS and take a look. Actually, with my skills I probably still won't be able to see what's wrong, I just want to have a look. Please help~~~

The methods for 9x and 2000 are fundamentally different.
For 98, just choose restart in MS-DOS mode. For 2000, you can go to

If you have a DOS boot disk, that's enough. A CD or floppy one will do.
Just insert the boot disk into the computer, then change the corresponding option in the BIOS and it'll be OK.

If my current computer can't boot normally, that is, it can't enter the Win9X series operating system, can it still boot into DOS at that point?

Also, in 98, choosing restart in DOS mode is not pure DOS mode at all
