But was there really any need to say such harsh things, and even curse all the moderators managing this board along with him?? Frankly speaking, everyone's habits when reading posts are different. Like me, I hardly ever look at those stickied posts, only occasionally. Take this thread for example, I only just saw it now too. A moderator's responsibility is to maintain order and tidy up the section he is responsible for. As for personal behavior, that simply isn't within a moderator's responsibility. A net friend's rights have to be fought for by the person himself

Even when joking, you have to pay attention to the other person's identity and limits. The word "pants" easily makes people think of sex. For a man to make that kind of joke to a woman is going too far no matter how you put it. I hope brother Langhua gives it serious thought and pays more attention in the future.

What Teacher Mo said is right. langhua did indeed use inappropriate wording in his joke. But if x-y wanted to express dissatisfaction with langhua's wording, that was his right, and it should have been directed at langhua personally... each person makes his own karma, each person bears it. Was there any need to drag in all the moderators managing this board and "talk" them all down together??
