I currently need to do TCP/IP network programming under DOS in the DJ environment. I saw that DJ comes with a TCPLIB file that provides sockets, and I want to use these sockets for programming, but I saw in its readme that these sockets have not been added to DJ's libraries. What should I do?
Since I don't know how to load them, I once compiled the "socket.c" file in TCPLIB as my own program in the DJ environment, and it reported many errors. Is this normal? At the same time, I also saw some network programming tools under DOS, for example wattcp. It can add a library, but this requires something named "licsocket.a" in DJ's own libraries. What's going on here? |
