I'm a newbie. After upgrading DOS to 7.10,
when booting up it goes straight to DOS instead, not to Windows like before. I still have to switch over, what a hassle. I don't know why. Please give me a solution. If it's this troublesome, I might as well not upgrade. I also don't know how to uninstall DOS, or how to restore it. Please explain in detail. Thanks |

Windows is a GUI program under DOS, so if you type WIN directly at DOS, it will enter Windows.

What does ICQ have to do with it? I know to type win.
What a hassle. Isn't there any specific solution? Mine is 98 first edition, and the machine is from 1998, a bit old, and it's still a commercial machine. Then how do I restore it to the original version? I hate switching at startup. |

Before, it went directly into Windows. Why doesn't it work after changing to this?
What's the difference? Under DOS, can it be set to enter Windows at startup? Teach me |
