After I installed a firewall, this thing appeared on my computer. What is it for? Can I let it through? It says: allow win32 kernel core component to access the network? Should I click Allow or Deny??

The firewall program is asking whether you agree to let a program it considers special access the network. The firewall cannot confirm whether this program is a hacker program (Trojan horse program), so it is asking you. First choose Deny and see what happens. If nothing unusual happens, just keep always denying it.

Is it Kingsoft NetDart? This thing does this all the time.
But in certain situations it's useful. For example, if you're using some pirated thing, it can keep it from going online to verify. Or if you're using single-user software on multiple machines in a LAN, sometimes you'll need it.
