Experts from all around:

I'm using an MSI 845U-C motherboard, 845D chipset. I just built this machine last year, but only recently did I discover that it doesn't support USB boot. What should I do??? Even asking the manufacturer didn't help. Please give me some pointers!!!!

Make a DOS boot disk~ add the USB driver under DOS... try loading the driver and see.

There are lots of ready-made boot disks on the forum.. just search around.

But what if there isn't a suitable BIOS? I checked on MSI's motherboard website and also made phone calls, still no luck.

The only solution is probably to flash the BIOS. If there isn't a suitable BIOS file... then you'll just have to wait...

Thinking about it now, MSI's BIOS really is lousy!
My motherboard is MSI too!
I called them too!
They just said it isn't supported!
So depressing!
