First of all, thanks everyone! I'm new here~
![]() The folder in the picture seems to have some kind of system error! It actually has no name. I want to delete it, but it shows: "Unable to delete 57075538; Cannot find the specified file. Please make sure the specified path and filename are correct"; then when I try to rename it, it's the same, can't do anything; finally I changed its attribute to archive, and it showed ---> "Error applying attributes to file C:\Documents and Settings\admi......\57075538 The system cannot find the file specified" I'm really completely dizzy! I figure it can only be deleted under DOS, right! I know how to format drive C under DOS, run files, browse directories, enter different folders, and also! To delete files it's rd_xxxx or deltree_xxxx What I want to ask is a super newbie question! My computer is running Win2000, `c: is a FAT32 partition, so how do I get into DOS! Thanks everyone! |

You can use a 98 boot disk. But why not do a disk scan and let it repair automatically? Generally after scanning, most problems like this can be solved.

Thanks, big brother above, I've already scanned drive C, still no use, that's why I came to ask everyone!
Since my computer's FAT32 partition can use a 98 boot disk, that's great! But back then I changed the system boot order in Safe Mode to scan the hard disk first instead of the 3.5-inch floppy first, so now even if I insert the disk it won't detect it, how do I change it back! Which one of these should I choose? Could someone give me a simple hint? floppy ls120 hdd_0 scsi cdrpm hdd-1 hdd-2 hdd 3 zip100 lan disabled Where on our forum is there a Win98 boot disk? I only have an ME one! |

I've tried that too, changing 桌面 into English letters, but it shows: "Unable to rename 桌面: Sharing violation. The source file or destination file may be in use"
I've run out of ideas! |

C:\>cd tencent
C:\tencent>dir /a/b .... C:\tencent> Then delete them one by one, and note attrib -r -s -h file The simpler way is to use deltree bad command or file name is because it can't find deltree.exe |

Thanks, expert! There are two things here I don't understand! I've never dealt with DOS on its own before, so I'm really a newbie~
Note attrib -r -s -h file -----> is that a command? I can just type it in as-is? bad command or file name is because it can't find deltree.exe -----> in another post I only just learned that not every DOS has this, where do I download it? How do I install it? |

I remember that in 2k you can directly use del to delete directories, though I'm not sure, give it a try.

I've used del! It said there was no file....... looks like it can only delete files, can't delete folders!
