In msdos6.22, how many search paths can the PATH command set at most?

It should only be limited by the space for environment variables.
But too many search paths will instead take too much time. |

There are two limits in all: one is the total space limit that Mr. Mo mentioned, and the other is the length limit for each variable. The former can be specified with the COMMAND /E:xx parameter, while the latter is determined by the operating system. For example, the length of the path variable that MS-DOS 7.10 can set seems to be about twice that of MS-DOS 6.22.
