I'm planning to back up the system to the last partition on the hard drive, using a batch file together with PQDI. How does DOS check for hard disk partitions?

Is there any DOS now that can perfectly support all partition formats and is also simple and convenient to use?

The following is quoted from Roy at 2003-8-31 11:22:10: Because DOS itself cannot recognize formats like NTFS unless third-party software is loaded; so if there are no special requirements it should be workable; also, what you want to do by finding the last partition will determine the method..... |

Many thanks. If the partition is hidden, can it still be detected and found?

Can a batch file get the hard disk partitions, whether hidden or not, display the result, and store
it in an environment variable? Thanks! |
