When my colleague's computer enters winsowsXP, the message "during the system auto-update, the password does not match" appears. Then the computer restarts. It can't enter the system. Under DOS the hard disk partitions cannot be seen. Asking all the experts for help. Thank you very much.

I've run into a similar problem before. Not sure whether this method applies. Boot into Safe Mode, and use System Restore to restore it.
