Eagerly looking for:
the complete MS-DOS series (I already have everything after 6.22, and also 3.31; 7.1 is all over the net now anyway, easy to find)
the complete PC-DOS series
All the links in New DOS Era are just dead old links from the site's early days. Honestly, this stuff really isn't easy to find, but I know for sure somebody has it. It's just that people nowadays are all chasing the new stuff, nobody needs these things anymore, so nobody uploads them. But I think if you like DOS, you might as well go all the way! My 386 was begged from someone else, the 486 I picked up for 50 yuan, and I also have a pretty nice monochrome monitor. Stuff at the 286 level is not so easy to find anymore. I'm not interested in developing new DOS software, maybe that has something to do with my work in graphic design and 3D animation, but I think if you want to really enjoy DOS, it's best to start from the earliest versions. On the one hand, you'll inevitably come into contact with the low-level fundamentals; on the other hand, it's also a kind of pure, original nostalgia!

I hope some kind person can put these two series into an archive and upload them for me (even versions before 3.20 would be fine), or just give me a valid download address! Thanks in advance!

The really early versions support too little technology.

It's just for collection purposes, it doesn't necessarily have to run everything!

The early ones don't even support double-sided disks, and don't support hard drives either, so really you could say they can't run anything at all (though if you have single-sided disks, maybe they can).

Of course I have 5.25-inch floppy drives and disks. What I'm looking for now is the systems. Maybe I'm just being weird, but I want to experience that old feeling from way back then, with no hard drive, having to boot from a floppy every time, then staring at the screen and listening to the machine slowly grind and creak along. Back then I wanted so badly to have a computer of my own. Now I can afford one, but I can't find one anymore. Even though the computers at home and at work are all fairly mainstream specs, I still really want to fulfill that wish from my youth.

I have disk image files for the complete MS-DOS and PC-DOS series. Please let me know your email address, and when I have time I'll send them to you. My email address: doujiehui@163.com (The email requirement is plain text mode only, and there must not be any attachments, thank you for your cooperation! Kinglion )

I do have lots of disks here,
but they're all confidential-grade.

Hoho~~ a thread that's almost a year old actually actually got bumped by someone!!
I got busy soon after, so I never read a lot of the later posts. These past two days I wandered back here without any particular reason (I don't hang around forums very often, so chiefs, please don't mind me!), and I actually ran into this thread after it had been bumped three times. Pretty interesting!

Kinglion, do you still have those things?

I do have them, but the files are too large, and I don't know how I can upload them. If the OP has space, please give some support.
