How can I get the same effect as when a Windows CD boots and shows press any key to boot from CD ... ??
It's pretty fun, I want to put that on a CD |

That's not what I mean. What I want is: when it reads the CD it shows press any key to boot from CD..., and then if I don't press any key, after 8 seconds the system can automatically boot from the hard disk.

This can only be done with the boot disk from 2K or XP; with 9X you can only add that JO.sys effect.

Would it work to extract the boot information from an XP or 2000 CD and edit it a bit?

Also, in the related boot files
add a 10-second countdown with hard disk boot as the default press any key to boot from CD show press any key to boot from CD... All of this can be done with EasyBoot. |
