How can I get the same effect as when a Windows CD boots and shows press any key to boot from CD ... ??

That's not what I mean. What I want is: when it reads the CD it shows press any key to boot from CD..., and then if I don't press any key, after 8 seconds the system can automatically boot from the hard disk.

This can only be done with the boot disk from 2K or XP; with 9X you can only add that JO.sys effect.

add a 10-second countdown with hard disk boot as the default
press any key to boot from CD

All of this can be done with EasyBoot.
