It's an Intel i845D motherboard. It hangs as soon as it gets to device=usbaspi.sys. What's strange is that it doesn't hang under VMware. What's going on?

I'm guessing it's a bug in the 845 motherboard...

Found the problem: it turned out that in my config.sys I had directly written "device=usbaspi.sys" without adding the parameter "/r" (blushing... by the way, what does /r mean? What other parameters are there?). After adding /r it no longer hangs, but my Netac USB flash drive still still can't be found. I also used moderator wengier's super boot disk, and both the third and fourth options still couldn't find the USB flash drive. What's going on??
