I want to write a whole-disk hard drive copy program.
How does ghost do it? It can reach almost 1 GB per minute. Does it use DMA to do it? Does any expert know the secret behind this? |

Hard drives don't have that kind of speed! |

Sorry, I got it wrong, it should be 1 GB/min.
Does anyone have Ghost-like code? Or does anyone know whether ghost does I/O directly on the hard disk or uses INT 13H? |
