How to drive a USB keyboard under DOS?
My laptop keyboard has some keys that don't work. Now I bought a USB keyboard, and I want to be able to use the USB keyboard under DOS, so that it's easier to deal with when the computer has problems.
How to use OHCI.EXE and UHCI.EXE? I tried running these two programs respectively under DOS, but the USB keyboard still can't be used, and the laptop keyboard doesn't respond either? How to load the driver? Should it be added to autoexec.bat?

If your machine is not very old, then there should be an option to enable the USB keyboard in the BIOS. Just enable it and it can be directly supported.

After loading in config.sys, it gets stuck at "UHCI USB controller initialized...". What should I do?

My computer was bought in 2001. I'll go check the bios.

In the BIOS settings, there are only three major items: mian, boot, and exit. There are no USB settings in them.
mailboard model: compaq 065ch
mainboard chipset: VIA VT8601 APOLLO promedia
BIOS manufacturer : phoenix Technologies (11.30.00)
