China DOS Union

I want to ask everyone a question: what operating system are you using now, and what operating system are you using to get to this forum????
I'm a beginner, and I also really want to learn about DOS. Can you help me???
How do you program under DOS?
How do you get in touch with the lowest-level commands in DOS, and programming???
Can DOS access www????

I guess most people use WIN to access this forum, and occasionally use DOS to access this forum. DOS can of course access WWW.

People generally use tables for webpage layout, just like this forum here, but when webpages laid out with tables are viewed in the DOS text browser Lynx, the layout gets completely messed up. And Arachne doesn't support Chinese.

Everyone keeps saying DOS should be developed, but what can DOS do now????
What I've seen is using basic and assembly under DOS for industrial control, (small size, fast speed, fully able to meet all kinds of control requirements) this is one of the reasons I want to learn DOS. Second, DOS is the mother of windos, and learning DOS well is a great help for learning win!!

There has been too little DOS development in China in recent years, and nobody has written a Chinese support extension module for ARACHNE, so ARACHNE cannot support Chinese. DOS can do far too many things; what I like most is multimedia (such as playing MP3, MID, etc.).

First learn how to ask questions.
