Long story short:
Reinstalling a laptop with only one USB port (no other ports at all). The computer didn't come with a CD-ROM drive or floppy drive.
The devices I have on hand: USB floppy drive, USB burner (don't know the brand), a USB 4-port serial interface, another computer.
Goal: get the CD-ROM drive recognized and reinstall.
The headache is: under DOS it can directly find the floppy drive, but it can't find the CD-ROM drive. After booting and loading with DUSE it still can't find anything.
Maybe I just don't know how to use it.
Please, experts, give me some guidance!

Put all the hardware drivers and the operating system installation files onto the laptop's hard disk, then reinstall and it should be OK.
As for your USB CD-ROM drive, under DOS you need drivers for it...

There's a problem with my ftp when uploading big software.
After a few minutes it automatically closes the program (cracked).

Copy WINME onto the flash drive, then USB-copy it to drive D: and install it.
Right now I don't know how to use DUSE, it can't find the flash drive...
And I also don't know how to move folders, merge folders, or copy folders under DOS.
My head is getting huge...
