Before, when I installed Win2000 on NTFS, it never took more than about 1 GB. A few months later, I reinstalled it once, still on this partition, and formatted it before installing. But after the installation, it unexpectedly took more than 1.8 GB. I entered that partition, selected all system files and hidden files, and then checked the properties, and it was only a bit over 800 MB. So what was the remaining 1 GB of hard disk space used for???

I've reinstalled it several times and it's always like this. It's driving me crazy. Experts, please advise me, what is causing this?
