I'm using WIN98. I haven't reinstalled it for a few months. These past few days, whenever I reboot, it always freezes when it gets to the Windows 98 screen. Today I had to go into Safe Mode twice before it finally started up~ How can I keep it from freezing at the 98 screen?

Check what drivers were added in autoexec and config; or move them to another drive first and give it a try; also try setting logo=0 in msdos.sys. Brother, there are plenty of experts here (I'm just a beginner), so just ask, don't kneel! ：）

Do you know how to check the hardware driver list? Most of the time it's because too many sound card drivers got installed. Just delete them all and reboot.
