A few days ago I mentioned in the forum that there is a bug in the full Chinese MS-DOS 7.10 super boot disk. The phenomenon is that it jumps to C: halfway during startup. Later, a friend said it was because the compression of the compressed package was too high. Today I finally found the real reason. If the hard disk is not fully partitioned, it will jump back to C:, and if it is partitioned, it won't. (The win98 disk startup won't have such a phenomenon) Please let the producer improve it as soon as possible.

Shen Jie, try my this tool. I personally think it's the best CAB format file compression tool. Although the speed is not very fast, there are more options during compression, such as compression ratio, volume splitting, subdirectories, and compressing files in different locations, etc. It can't be found online. I modified your all-Chinese bootable disk, adding the function of Ghost automatic backup and recovery, which was done by repacking CAB with this. It seems there are no problems as reported above. I also modified Shen Jie's all-Chinese bootable disk and made it into a Ghost recovery CD. But I didn't pay attention to this problem because I have already extracted the compressed package and burned it to the CD.

Shen Jie, this bug has nothing to do with the compressed package. I have modified your all-Chinese bootable disk and solved the problem of this bug, but I don't know how to upload a 1.38M file.

Mainly because your batch file AUTOEXEC.BAT was not written well, resulting in a bug when the C: drive failed to be read during startup. Can anyone download the file I uploaded?

Boot the computer with the MS-DOS 7.10 super boot disk, use the SYS command to send the system files to the C drive, and the following warning message will appear when booting the computer: Warning: the system configuration manager failed to run. some of your real-mode device drivers may not initialize properly. 2. Also, when installing Windows 98, a prompt that Config.sys is invalid will appear: Config.sys file is invalid. A Config.sys file containing multiple boot methods may be invalid. The installation program can create a new default Config.sys file. The original file will be saved as Config.bak
