I was scanning for viruses under DOS in WINXP, and in all cases I loaded the NTFSPRO package first. I first used Kingsoft Antivirus, and it gave this prompt: "INSUFIICIENT EXTENDED MEMORY!" After that, the program just froze there. The virus scan could not continue.
Then I found KV2003 and still tried killing viruses under DOS, also with the NTFSPRO package loaded, and found the same situation as above. From my intuition, KV2003 should recognize the NTFS format, and it should be able to run in both 16-bit and 32-bit programs, so it shouldn't just stall there.
Below, I'd like to ask what the English prompt above means. Should I choose to exit, or load some other program before the virus scan can run?
