Just making site affairs public, that's all.
Actually it's not very useful. Because it still hasn't taken shape...
It should be better after the committee is established.
It'll be enough if all the moderators do more real work.
I think the most urgent thing is still to standardize post titles and content, so everyone can discuss things at a higher level. Posts like that are what actually benefit everyone. It's always those time-wasting, life-murdering posts that drive people crazy.
Also, moderators have the duty to mark digest posts as digest as early as possible and place them in the digest section. That way, on the one hand the labor of the people who made the posts is acknowledged, and on the other hand everyone can more easily find good posts to study.
If someone isn't sincerely here to mess around with DOS, then it doesn't matter if they have opinions.
I think the most important thing about a DOS forum is its academic atmosphere, not some simple so-called popularity.
If most of the forum is made up of simple, unattractive posts, and it's all a mess, with the good posts drowned out, then even DOS experts who do come won't want to come back. Let alone trying to attract more experts to participate now...
I speak rather directly, but I'm not targeting any particular group. If you think what I said is wrong, or you think I hurt some people's feelings, please remember: 1. I'm not talking about you. 2. I'm not talking about anyone either. 3. If you insist on applying it to yourself, then just treat it as me talking crazy, or as having been bitten by a mad dog, that's fine too. Just don't turn around and bite me back... I don't want to be ganged up on. Hehe...
