My machine often hangs, and it's under DOS, and it's an old laptop. After turning off the power and starting it again, it still shows the same screen from when it hung, and restarting doesn't work. The only thing I can do is wait until the battery runs out before I can really start it again. It's really a headache! Please give me some advice..

I suggest you check the hardware first...
If there really isn't any hardware problem, then download a boot disk from here and reinstall DOS; usually that will do it. Also, please pay attention to your post title, and also, don't post the same thread in two forums, okay? |
