Question, I'm using WIN2000. But under this system, a lot of DOS games won't run. What's going on? What do I need to do to make them playable? I'm a newbie, so please explain it a bit more directly Thanks

win2k has fake DOS, use a boot disk to enter pure DOS to play them.... for something simpler just use 98

... If you want something more complicated, use VMWare. Compatibility is very good. VPC can't run some non-standard machine code, and UMB support isn't too good either, it's just a bit more convenient.

VMWare's compatibility really is pretty good... it supports communication...

VPC works too, but I still haven't tried it under DOS.... I don't want to use VM because inserting or ejecting a "CD" or "floppy disk" requires a reboot....

Using VPC, I've never once managed to network with the host...
