I tried the 98 edition of ucdos and version 7.0 of ccdos, but found that after installing them neither would work; after opening them I couldn't input anything.

Under WinME?
Just extract them directly? Or how do you use them?

You must use them inside command.com, and can't just double-click them directly.

I've used CCDOS97, UCDOS 7.0, AW97, TW, etc. under WinME, and they all worked.

They should work under WINME, but under WINXP they can only be loaded in virtual DOS!

That's exactly how to use it. ucdos98 doesn't need to load Pinyin; if you use Wubi then it has to be loaded. Just bring up the shortcut key and it'll be fine. It works under winme, win98\win95\dos,
