Why can't a CD be copied to the hard drive? I've tried several times already, but after copying, the files are all only 1K and can't be opened at all. What is the reason for this? Sorry to trouble everyone!

copy /b -- copy binary files
copy /v -- copy & verify files You can try these two parameters. If that still doesn't work, then use xxcopy~ |

Good grief, what you copied are CDA files. You need software for ripping audio tracks; there are lots of programs like that.

My disc is a music CD (very musical indeed yo), so now I'm in trouble. What software should I use?

Using "Super Jieba" to convert the CDA files on the CD into MP3 works too. That's what I do.

ALTOMP3 gives better copy results, and the sound quality difference from the CD is something you can't hear. You can also set the bitrate. Of course, the more bitrate and LAMP technology you use, the more space it takes, and the more comfortable your ears will be.

EAC - Extra Audio Copy is the best
Musicmatch is also pretty good Super Jieba... sucks! Use LAME for making MP3s lame --abr 128 -h --nspsytune --athtype 2 --lowpass 16 --ns-bass -8 --scale 0.93 source_file destination_file |

I've already used Super Jieba to convert, but the results weren't very good. Big brother in post #8, could you provide a download link? THANKS. I also don't quite understand what that English part below means. Is it something to pay attention to during the conversion process?

These are the best settings for using LAME to make MP3s at 128kbps
source_file and destination_file refer to the source file and destination file; just replace them with the filenames The above information comes from www.audio100.com |

Of course, you can also make it directly with media player. The sound quality is not bad, at least a bit better than MP3, and the files are smaller than the ones on the CD. It depends on your compression ratio.
