Ha, I have a USB removable hard disk, made by putting a desktop hard drive into an external drive enclosure. Under Windows 98 and MAC it needs its own driver. I wonder if this one will work?

According to my testing, the compatibility and general support of this DUSE 4.9 version have improved a lot compared with version 4.4! But it can no longer run under EMM386.

But you can load DUSE first and then load EMM386... but not the other way around.

DUSE by itself can indeed be compressed that small. But in actual use it just won't work... so you can still only use the 53KB one...

Because if you want to use it normally, DUSE can only be loaded in CONFIG.SYS. But before loading DUSE in CONFIG.SYS, you can't RAR-extract it there.

Sheesh, I know that, but this compression has nothing to do with RAR, it's just executable packing compression

I don't get it, we're both compressing it with UPX, so why does yours work but mine doesn't?
