There is some problem with my hard disk (unknown), and its format is NTFS. Because the hard disk is not easy to remove, I considered using a USB device to copy the data off the hard disk.
The boot disk I used was downloaded here. After booting, the screen went black. After removing the LOGO, I was finally able to get in.
Among them, DUSE4.4 can find my usb hard disk (Aigo USB hard disk), and it reports it as ibm dujs 210. After that the system treats it as drive F. But after startup, drive F cannot be used. It behaves like this:
>F:
(roughly meaning drive F is unavailable, or not ready)
Unplug it
DUSE reports the device is not present.
Plug it in again
duse reports the device as ibm dujs 210, mounted on drive F
At this time I can switch to F
then dir
I can see the hard disk volume label, but the directory cannot be listed, and it reports that drive F is unavailable.

Moderator, what should I do so that I can use my usb hard disk

Have you tried that Super Boot Disk 0.1 modified edition made by coolming? It uses USBASPI1.SYS in it.

I haven't tried it. I'm about to go crazy. This machine has a huge amount of data, and I still need to recover the ORACLE database on it. I'm really dizzy from this (I will never again use a laptop whose hard disk can't be removed).
I'm trying it now, thanks, moderator

I saw an error:
the following file is missing or corrupted:aspiohci.sys
there is an error in your config.sys file on line 46

I didn't see any error when I made the boot disk. Can I copy that file from your floppy disk?

I did it wrong. If I use fdc under DOS, there is no above problem, but it still can't drive my usb hard disk (can't find it)
