After importing the registry once,
the Internet tools in 98 all stopped working (the LAN can still connect) ie ftp telnet all can't be used anymore whenever I open IE it always errors out it's version 6.0.2800.1106 Is there any other way besides reinstalling? |

In Accessories - System Tools - System Information, there is a System File Checker function. There is also IE's repair tool, give it a try.
