I took part in the making of Mini95

Mini95 - uses the real 95 kernel (1995-12)
Development has begun, target: 6.5MB (Simplified Chinese edition)
Add a Skynet and an Opera, plus a 95plus, and it can reach all the functions of 98 within 15MB

We won't do the next step for now. If we can get all the tools, it'll be out in two days.

MiniWare Group - iceboy
Somehow somewhere I've got to choose.
No matter if it is win or lose.

Too bad it doesn't support large hard disks, and it seems it doesn't even support FAT32. It'd be better to make it with win97 instead.

Could one of the experts please think of a way to make it support FAT32? miniwin32 can support FAT32, and support for Chinese is also very important.

Yeah... 95B (97) doesn't have compatibility as good as 95...

But if it doesn't support FAT32 and large hard disks, then compatibility is useless anyway.

Don't make it like the one that runs on virtual memory. I used a Mini98 that ran in virtual memory before, and it was a real hassle. Every time it had to be reloaded. Total waste of time, I threw it away long ago.

FAT32? Large hard disks? If they work in DOS then there shouldn't be any problem in Windows9x, right...
站不稳,真的站不稳,DOS真的很难站稳,谁给我找个立脚的地方?

I suggest making one for use on a USB flash drive, since there are a lot of USB flash drives now, and there are also more motherboards that support booting from USB flash drives.
At most, just make a floppy disk for making a bootable USB flash drive suitable for personal use.
Right now I'm learning to make a 98 for a USB flash drive. My USB flash drive is 256M. Because I couldn't make boot software suitable for my own USB flash drive, I had no choice but to buy a motherboard that supports USB boot. Hehe
Hope everyone can teach me more.

I made one for a USB flash drive, but it wasn't good. The speed wasn't enough, and it often had errors, so later I changed it to a RAM disk.
It's much faster. Anyway it's only for backing up files, so it doesn't have to be quite that perfect.

Put it on a CD!!!!
Part of the stored information can be kept on the hard disk!!!
Wouldn't it be great to make it into a boot disk!!!

Let's bump it!!

Although I didn't understand it all that clearly, I still support what the posters above said.
It needs support for FAT32, otherwise it wouldn't even be as good as a 3.X disk, right?
