If SMARTDRV is used directly without any parameters, does it have any effect?
After /x, does it work the same as PC-Cache?

Generally speaking, what parameters should be used when installing Win2k from a CD-ROM?

SMARTDRV can be used without parameters; it has its own default parameter values.
