My DOS has a NIC driver installed, and it can get online, but then COULD NOT ALLOCATE PAGE TABLE MEMORY
(cannot allocate memory) comes up. Experts, what kind of problem is this Urgent, thanks

Alright, I’ve found the method myself, so I’ll tell everyone: try to reduce the programs loaded in config.sys & autoexec.bat as much as possible, then the contentional error won’t appear. If you run into the same problem, check it yourself first.

There’s too little memory. I suggest using FreeDOS’s ATAPICDD.SYS for the CD-ROM, and HIMEM + UMBPCI + HIRAM for memory, plus LOWDMA, and that should be about enough.
Somehow somewhere I've got to choose.
No matter if it is win or lose.
