A standard DOS boot disk made by Win98 can find it.
My hard disk is divided into 3 partitions; the first two are NTFS, and the last one is FAT32.

Thanks! I've already downloaded it and tried it. This time after booting it hangs directly (no response while running some CD-ROM driver).
But if I press Shift+F5 as soon as the menu appears, I can access the last FAT32 partition on the hard disk.

If I press Shift+F8 to let it run step by step and skip that CD-ROM driver, then it hangs at the end just before the prompt is about to appear.

What's going on?

Then it may be a compatibility problem with those drivers... Is the CD-ROM driver VIDE-CDD.SYS?

VIDE-CDD.SYS is fine, but I seem to have found the crux of the problem:

Open the files readme.txt, msdos.sys, autoexec.bat, and config.sys, and you'll find that the ends of the files are all garbled!!!!!! This may be a Bug in HD-COPY (I remember there were reports about it before); after extracting, the files may get corrupted.

The above are only 4 text files; if they were executable files, then of course the system would hang after running them!
Could the moderator consider using a different compression format in the future, to prevent similar problems?

Agreed... HD-COPY does seem to have BUGs sometimes, I've seen it too... So lately I rarely use HD-COPY to make IMG files...

Moderator Wengier, it doesn't seem to be an HD problem.
I used WinImage to extract it to a floppy, and those files are garbled too!

Could I trouble you to check whether the source files are correct, and recompress and upload them again?

It's not a problem with WinImage extraction, but a problem during compression. If something went wrong during compression, then no matter how you extract it, it won't work. But that compressed file seems to be fine; I've tried it many times. Could there have been a problem during download?
